Starting as a kitchen porter 28 years ago, I have run pubs and restaurants across the southeast. Returning to Marlow in 2020 to take the helm of the Chequers. I am passionate about all things “pub” and consider it a real privilege to be the custodian of such a historic inn at the heart of my hometown. I am particularly fond of Craft Beer and Whisky so my idea of “Pub Heaven” is our very own Churchill Tap.  In my spare time, I’m a volunteer coach for youth rugby and also play Ultimate Frisbee.
